The International Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on December 10.  The day was established in 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly in order to mark the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). SLEITI MSG Reviews EITI Pre-Validation Workshop

The Sierra Leone Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative has held a one day Pre-Validation Workshop to review the EITI Validation templates on the Transparency of Stakeholders Engagement on the Outcomes and Impact ahead of the commencement of Sierra Leone’s valuation scheduled to start on the 1 April 2022.  The Human Right Defenders Network Sierra Leone as a member of the MSG was in attendance during the pre-validation exercise.  And as a network we would like to call on all the membership of the network to participate and fully disseminate the EITI activity in the country.
